I photograph weddings for people who want to enjoy their day, not perform for the camera. I always say “No-one likes an awkward smile!”
I don’t shout instructions or turn moments into scenes. I stay close enough to notice what matters and far enough away that it all feels natural.
What I care about most is how your day felt. The nerves before the ceremony. The way your friends and family look at you. The small moments that happen while everyone thinks nothing important is going on. Those are the photographs that mean the most later.
I arrive calm, prepared, and quietly observant. I’ll always capture the important moments you expect, but I’m also watching for the ones you don’t see happening. The hugs, smiles and guests when they think no one is watching.
I believe a photographer should make things easier, not harder. No pressure. No constant posing. No interruptions to the flow of your day. I’ll always support you where I can.

Legend has it I took my first photograph at the age of four – and I’ve rarely stopped since.
Over the years I’ve photographed with film and digital cameras, and although I now work mainly with digital, I still love the character and intention that film brings. That way of seeing slowly and carefully shapes everything I do.
Before weddings, landscape photography was where my passion really grew. It taught me how to work with light, space and atmosphere, and it’s why I love photographing weddings in beautiful places, both in the UK and abroad.
When I’m not behind the camera, life is full and noisy in the best way – shared with my young family who keep me grounded and laughing.
